Admissions Philosophy

Our admissions process is designed to attract families and students seeking an educational environment that promotes active student engagement, offering enriching experiences that foster learning and allow students to reach their full potential.

At The Columbus School, we value the importance of aligning families’ educational philosophies with the programs, services, and resources we offer. Our mission is to learn with courage and curiosity, lead with purpose and service, and inspire a sense of character and belonging in our students.

Admission Criteria

Admissions are based on space availability and an assessment of the student’s academic and disciplinary development. With the exception of K4 students, all applicants must demonstrate the required level of English for their grade level.

The school carries out a due diligence process through which it verifies the information provided by applicant families and ensures that they meet the school’s values and institutional standards.

Note: The Columbus School reserves the right to admit and does not incur any obligation by simply receiving an application.
